Graduation Day
A message of love to the veterinary students that are easily forgotten by their peers.
A big shout out to all the veterinary students who didn’t win an award, made the honor roll, or barely made it through the last four years at school. A big hug to the moms, dads, grandparents, caregivers, foster parents, husbands, wives, kids, and significant others that supported them as they navigated veterinary school.
To the veterinary students didn’t get family members or friends to attend their graduation ceremony. To those who didn’t get an internship. Or the ones who have to go straight to work in a different field because they have not passed the NAVLE yet. You are still worthy of a pat on the back and social media posts with people talking about how amazing you are.
Some students have to work twice as hard as others just to get a C during vet school [I was one of them once, but from graduation day until today, I have done fantastic in the field]. Their achievements deserve recognition.
Don’t forget those students.
Kindness, creativity, and generosity... those attributes sadly don’t get the accolades they deserve.
A Minor Victory For My Project, But A Major Personal Victory For Me!
Today I'm sharing great news from my project, the Veterinary Channel. One of my beloved veterinary students has arrived in Italy to complete a master's degree in Animal Nutrition. Thanks to all of you who support my project, the Veterinary Channel, by watching the videos. Welcome to the West, Dr. Shahab Khan!
A Big Welcome To Our New Voice Over Artist!
The Veterinary Channel welcomes Mary Frances Allen as a voice artist for several of our videos. Mary Frances previously worked as a veterinary assistant at Best Friend Animal Hospital in Statesboro, Georgia.
Around The World
Our veterinary contributor, Doctor Subhash Singh, was interviewed by a local TV station (Jaipur, Rajasthan India). He provided information to the audience on how to prevent dog bites.
Help me and the Veterinary Channel to reach more veterinary students in underdeveloped countries by doing the following:

The ear canal in dogs produces oils and waxes that protect the ear against pollen, parasites, and foreign bodies. Without regular ear cleaning the wax can accumulate and harbor bacteria and fungus which eventually can produce an ear infection. Ear infections are painful and if left untreated eventually are going to affect the hearing of your dog. Ear infections are one of the main reasons for visits to the veterinarian. Concerned about this, Dr. Feneque created this easy-to-follow guide that shows pet owners how to clean a dog ear properly in 5 easy steps. The book is available on Amazon for only 99 cents.
